New Build

Having designed and completed many new build projects for ourselves & customers, we are able to provide a service for any part of the project process from plans and planning permission through to build and completion.

Home extensions

We offer a range of services designed to create extra space for living or relaxing in your home, we are also experts in carrying out extensions. We can advise customers on how to get drawings, plans & planning permission for any extension work.

Renovations

Our work carried out on property renovations is second to none. We follow the customers specifications to the nearest detail, also suggesting ways in which their renovation could be improved. All the materials we use are to the highest quality. We have completed several barn conversions and Grade II listed renovations in the area and have been highly commended for our professionalism and quality by customers, local planners and other property service professionals.

Loft Conversions

All our loft conversions are carried to the highest standard, these include the installation of dormers, Velux windows, stairs, floors and hatches for lofts.

Conservatories

All our conservatories are carried out to the highest standards and use the latest high quality Rehau frames and K Glass, we can supply self cleaning glass for both the roof and windows, we can also offer internal glass blinds, argon filled glass to increase thermal values, underfloor heating both electric and water.

Bathrooms

We can design bespoke bathrooms,you chose the products and we fit using all our experience to create the smooth designer look, with the best quality finish, we can insall all floor and wall coverings, tiles, Karndean, laminates to real wood.

We are members of NAPIT – one of the leading Government approved and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme operators in the building services and fabric sector.

Trustmark

TrustMark is the only Government endorsed scheme for trades in and around the home. We are proud members and we are vetted through on-site inspections to ensure we are raising industry standards.

A bit about us

JCT have been in business since 2000 and was set-up by two long standing friends who shared a passion for property development. In that short space of time they have built an excellent reputation within the local area for offering outstanding value for money and delivering a quality service.

We have built our business steadily and achieved the TrustMark certification in 2006 which is a major commitment to their customers in terms of providing reassurance of quality, reliability and trustworthyness for home / property owners.

Director: Steve Carruthers
Steve has a passion renovating his own properties which spurred him to go into business providing property services for other people. Steve is a certified electrician under NAPIT regulatory control.

Director: Steve Travis
Steve has worked within the building industry for all of his working life and has come to know the local building market on the Wirral very well. Having spent 15 years at Howarths and helped other local builders plan their projects and having a talent for joinery, Steve decided to embark on projects of his own which culminated in setting up JCT in 2000.
